In this painting, I worked with the word “shine.” I allowed it to float freely, as if held by the universe and illuminated by sparks of light.
Rumi’s words—“You are needed, and there is a place for you”—echo deeply in my practice. They inspired an experiment where a group of women created art using a single word as their compass.
This process revealed how intention, language, and creativity can meet in powerful ways. I will continue exploring and sharing techniques that incorporate words into art-making
