What made this piece even more meaningful was painting it live during a volunteer demo at the Brushwood Center—a big step outside my comfort zone. I usually paint in solitude, but sharing my process in action brought a new kind of joy and connection.
This experience reminded me: growth doesn’t happen in comfort. Just like the trillium rises each spring in quiet resilience, we, too, bloom when we dare to stretch beyond what’s familiar.
